Always been fascinated with
tennis since I was a kid,
watched a lot of tennis on tv
but never was consistent in
playing mainly due to other
sports. Trying to get into it
now in my 30s, overall I’m
pretty quick learner in all
sports , played lots of ping
pong and badminton and
basketball and see some carry
over in the sport from those
experiences. That said just
trying to get better right
now, not trying to play
competitively although I am
very competitive. Lately have
been taking a lot of shots off
a wall just to get some rhythm
and consistency with shots.
Open to just rallying or
keeping score , prefer Whitby
but open to Durham region and
Scarborough meets
I've been playing on and off
for a couple of years, off
mostly, sidelined by injury.
I'm looking to start playing
on a consistent basis.
Rallying is just fine by me,
since I need to gain shot
consistency off both flanks.
However, game-play is fine
too. Its a chance to put into
practice all the rallying :).
I can play in Pickering and
maybe Scarborough (with
planning). I prefer
singles-play....less pressure
to perform :). Hit me up if
you'd like to play some time.
I think my self-evaluation as
a level 4 is fairly accurate
although I suspect that's
still open for interpretation.
With some practice, i should
get better by the end of
summer.
Started lessons about 3 year
ago. Like to rally, play
friendly singles or doubles.
Looking to improve serves,
forehand. 1 to 2 hours, with
water breaks.
